日本・中国・韓国の伝統楽器による史上初の管弦楽団「オーケストラ アジア」によるコンサートの映像です。
_オーケストラアジアとは_
１９９３年９月、以前から相互に交流を積み重ねてきた日本・中国・韓国の音楽
家やプロデューサーが韓国ソウルに集まり、西洋のオーケストラと鮮やかに対照
する３か国の伝統楽器群による史上初の管絃楽団「オーケストラアジア」が誕
生。翌９４年、韓国ソウル「芸術の殿堂コンサートホール」での旗揚げ公演を皮
切りに、東アジア各都市で毎年自主公演を開催。日本国内では札幌、仙台、東
京、富山、岐阜、大阪、神戸、岡山、徳島、福岡でのコンサートをはじめ、日本
政府主催の「戦後５０年を記念する集い」(国立劇場)、文化庁芸術祭主催公演
「アジア・アート・フェスティバル」(国立劇場)、「長野オリンピック記念公
演」(長野県民文化会館)、ＮＨＫ・ＴＶ「キックオフ２００２・アジア新時
代」、愛・地球博「日中韓オーケストラアジア コンサート」の特別演奏など、
国や民族の境界を超えて活発な活動を展開している。
現在、｢オーケストラ アジア｣は、中国歌劇舞劇院民族楽団、韓国中央国楽管
絃楽団、オーケストラアジア ジャパン(日本 亜洲楽団)の演奏者が母体となり組
織されています。
*_What is the Orchestra Asia_*
The Orchestra Asia is the unique orchestra consists of only traditional
instruments from northeast Asian countries. Founded in Seoul, September
1993 as an result of untiring commitment and many years of mutual
exchange among musicians and producers from China, Korea, and Japan.
Since their first performance at famed Palace of Art Concert Hall in
Seoul 1994, they have been active to give their scheduled performances
every year in many cities of East Asian countries with great success. In
Japan, Not only regular performances in most major cities, they have
played as a special performer at Meeting to Commemorate 50 Post-War
Years" (sponsored by Japanese government), Ministry of cultural Affairs
Art Festival, the commemoration of The Winter Olympic Games in Nagano
1997 , and EXPO 2005 AICHI JAPAN.
