If you remember, I did a special Xmas video starring a set of Carranger figures. So why not a review? Well, here is a review of the team leader: Red Racer!
Red Racer comes with a slew of accessories. Included with this figure is...
-Auto Blaster
-Viblade
-Navick Shot
-オートブラスター
-バイブレード
ナビックショット
The Auto Blaster and Navick shot even have the ability to combine to for the Navick Blaster (ナビックブラスター)
The figure itself is well sculpted and nicely detailed. The punching action leaves much to be desired, but who cares? The weapons are cool and the figure is very poseable with great articulation.
If anything irks me...it's the figure itself. I've never been a huge fan of the "DX" sized figures. They just don't seem as fun (or dangerous) as the small Chogokin figures. Oh well.
Power Rangers Turbo did get a set of DX figures based on the DX Action Carranger figures. If I recall, the weapons were not painted like they are here with the Bandai Japan version.
