Nemui Taidane Cover - Yoake no Inori について・・・
The music was originally an UTAU original for Defoko, which eventually got its Vocaloid version by Sango312.
I can't be bothered encoding the lyrics into the tune, sadly. Plus I can't find an accurate translation everywhere, so meh.
I couldn't find any pics fitting Nemui and the song, so I decided to sketch one up myself.
I'm not too confident about my sketching skills, so don't expect anything stellar about it.
The song translates as "Dawn Prayer". Feels like a chant after waking up. This was the music requested by Onnaneko to be sung by Nemui upon completion of my voicebank research.
The cover is put up as proof of concept that Nemui finally has a voice. Onnaneko didn't want Nemui to have a voice that time, but she needed one badly to keep up with her "officemates", Dell and Riza.
Breaking from the tradition, and following what other producers have been doing, I've used Gumi as the base for Nemui's voice. She may sound muffled and boring in the music, but that's rather, intentional.
But why a piece from the creator of Nemui's not-so-liked person?
I guess that will remain a mystery for a while. /heh
Geez! Now I want to do something similar for Riza and Dell.
