Mario Kart Wii - Jan 30 10 A について・・・

Well, now that my coverage of New Super Mario Bros. Wii is over, I'm going back to what I usually put up. It's interesting that you guys continue to watch these; I guess Mario Kart Wii never grows old. Among other games. Race #1 DS Yoshi Falls This room had an interesting mix. The VRs of the people in the room were pretty varied, though there was no one above the mid-8000s. You might recall that the last time I played online, my VR took a hit due to a series of disconnections. I suppose that means I have a deceptively low VR. Disconnections really annoy me in this game, not so much because of the big loss in VR but because I don't get to finish the race while everyone else does. I manage to hold my own in this race, twice passing ahead of what I'd guess are bike purists based on their choice of vehicles. Also, notice that only one player out of 11 in this rom is not using a Wii Wheel. Race #2 SNES Ghost Valley 2 I'm sure at least one person is going to come in telling me how to maintain my speed after a POW Block attack because I failed to do so during DS Yoshi Falls. I know how to do so; I just can't do it consistently. I especially can't do it while I'm turning, because the Wii Wheel has to be moved differently during a turn than when going straight, and it's done more awkwardly. Like the last race, a POW Block occurs near the end here, but I maintain my lead by moving the Wii Wheel appropriately. A fortunate Blue Shell happened here when I happened to be in a close 2nd but not too close; that's the best position to be in during a Blue Shell strike. Race #3 GCN Waluigi Stadium Not every race played in this room was at one of the Retro tracks, but the most interesting ones were. Come to think of it, are there devotees of either camp, one for the Wii courses and one for the Retro courses? I'd imagine that there are. For the third time, a POW Block strikes near the end of a race which makes or break my position. Why does it feel like someone is aiming deliberately at me? A feud occurred during the second lap that put me from 1st into 6th; olle and Imhotep, who have dueling VRs, unfortunately escaped scot-free and pull ahead too much for anyone to challenge them. My being in 3rd let me end up with a VR of exactly 8000 though, which is a nice number. Battle #1 Balloon Battle Delfino Pier The last batch of Mario Kart Wii videos didn't have a Battle Mode bout, so here's one. I still see bunches of Mario Kart Wii videos, but few of them actually have Battle Mode stuff. Wasn't an online Battle Mode something people really wanted for this game? As usual, I seem to practically represent the team; I'm holding up the Red Team's score. There must have been an equal to me on the Blue Team though, since while I allowed the Red Team to stay ahead on the first half, the Blue Team went on a point-gaining blitz that tied the score at 9-9. Someone slipped on something at the last few moments though, allowing the Red Team to win. In matches like these, I have to wonder: How would the Red Team be doing if I wasn't there to help them? And in the end...it turns out I didn't really have a Blue Team rival. The points were more evenly distributed (though considering the Red Team's points, that doesn't really say much.)
